Bob Dylan - Blowin' In The Wind (1962)

Em 1962 Bob Dylan escreveu Blowin' in the Wind.

E a resposta, meus amigos... A resposta, essa... A resposta... is blowin' in the wind.

______

"How many roads must a man walk down
Before you call him a man?
Yes, 'n' how many seas must a white dove sail
Before she sleeps in the sand?
Yes, 'n' how many times must the cannon balls fly
Before they're forever banned?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

How many years can a mountain exist
Before it's washed to the sea?
Yes, 'n' how many years can some people exist
Before they're allowed to be free?
Yes, 'n' how many times can a man turn his head,
Pretending he just doesn't see?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

How many times must a man look up
Before he can see the sky?
Yes, 'n' how many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry?
Yes, 'n' how many deaths will it take till he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,
The answer is blowin' in the wind."

Bob Dylan - Life is Hard (2009)

Podia ter escolhido a agitada It's All Good, a guitarra viciante de Jolene, a mais rockeira Shake Shake Mama, a deliciosa e quase veraneante I Feel a Change Comin' On, a bluesy My Wife's Home Town, o acordeão de This Dream Of You, os grandes otovermes (no bom sentido) If You Ever Go To Houston e Forgetful Heart ou o single Beyond Here Lies Nothin'.

Together Through Life é mais um disco obrigatório.

Life is Hard, Bob Dylan.

_______

"The evening winds are still
I've lost the way and will
Can’t tell you where they went
I just know what they meant
I’m always on my guard
Admitting life is hard
Without you near me

The friend you used to be,
So near and dear to me
You slipped so far away,
Where did we go astray
I passed the old school yard,
Admitting life is hard
Without you near me

Ever since the day,
The day you went away
I felt that emptiness so wide
I don’t know what's wrong or right
I just know I need strength to fight,
Strength to fight that world outside

Since we've been out of touch
I haven't felt that much
From day to barren day
My heart stays locked away
I walk the boulevard,
Admitting life is hard
Without you near me

The sun is sinking low
I guess it's time to go
I feel a chilly breeze
In place of memories
My dreams are locked and barred
Admitting life is hard
Without you near me"
