Phoenix - 1901 (2009)

A conselho do Rui Maia (que, diga-se assim de passagem, tem um excelente Ep acabadinho de sair pela Optimus Discos, grátis e tudo), ando a ouvir Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, o álbum de estreia dos franceses Phoenix.

Não sei bem o que dizer. Talvez que gostei do facto de conjugarem boas letras, com um electro-rock interessante. E também gosto muito da voz. Para além de que 1901, o single, me deixa sempre bem disposta.

Fica bem como parte de uma playlist de verão (sem qualquer desprimor, muito pelo contrário) e a mensagem da letra adequa-se ao momento, este em que pareço coleccionar canções sobre o passado, o presente, o futuro e as chatices que cada um deles traz.

Não vou engonhar mais e aqui fica a deliciosa letra na íntegra. 1901 está disponível para download gratuito no site da banda, por isso não há cá desculpas. Toca a procurar, que vale bem a pena!
